Services:

Filming, teaching, editing, directing and producing a documentary on Type II Diabetes in a two week time period with very little funding and assistance other than students.

It is one fine documentary that earned for CARE (Charleston Arts and Revitalization Effort) several health and wellness awards. We can thank Mr. Roger Bethel for his keen artistic eye, his hard work and professional efforts in making this happen. I would recommend him to any group, business or for any school.

Production Training

I have been attending class with Dr. Bethel for a little over 2 months now. I have learned how to correctly and professionally use a video camcorder. Dr. Bethel walked us through the shooting basics and composition of filming. We learned about the camera controls and the best way to use them to make a professional video/production. We learned how to position the lights to bring the best composition to our subject(s). Dr. Bethel taught us how to be producers and directors. We learned how to write a script to make sure that the show will flow properly and smoothly. I am looking forward to putting my new learned skills to work.

Filming a commercial

I have found Dr. Bethel to be very professional and well educated in his craft. This was the first commercial that I had done. I will only work with him in the future to produce any other commercials that I need for my business. I would recommend MATC to anyone that I run in contact with that needs a commercial produced.
